    Where to take my date?

What's a good date place to take a guy who's into fashion, architecture, and electronic goodies?  I feel like the typical movie/dinner combo would be kinda boring for him.  Any ideas?

Ugh. I have no idea! I guess if he's into fashion and everything it might be nice to spend a night in the city, just walking around ... depends on where you live. In the main city here my friends love walking around the "fashion district" particularly at night ... it's just a sophisticated feel to it and it sounds like your guy is pretty sophisticated. As for architecture ... yup, the city would be good, particularly the way buildings look at night. No idea how to incorporate electronic goodies. Hopefully a guy will come and answer this soon! Good luck. :)

Fashion and design are some pretty design-based stuff, perhaps taking him to a wacky design exhibition/museum could be a good idea.  Just check some of your local design communities and look for some local art/design spaces.  As for the electronic goodies, a bit of window shopping never hurt anyone.  You could probably do that while taking a walk around the city, looking at interesting buildings and telling each other why you think a certain building is interesting to you.

Seems like there should be some sort of museum that would be a good choice.  I have no idea where you live, but that would be my first instinct.  Or go see a foreign or indie film for a change of pace... it might be interesting!
