Is he a player? should I continue talking to him?

I met this guy a week ago, he is perfect in what i am looking for... I had found out from a friend in common that he used to be a player, but he's matured and he is really sweet.. I than found out from this same friend (that i dont really trust) that the new boy lied to me and is going out with another girl.. I tweaked on the new guy, he seemed to not know what i was talking about and after 2 days of silence, he is trying to still talk to me.. should I be his friend or nothing at all? can players change? what do i do?

Try to get to know him better before you make a judgment on him based on solely what his friends say. Figure out for yourself what's going on, and you can only do that by really getting to know him and hanging out with him. Be cautious, but just keep in mind that it might not be true.

I've learned that you better keep your distance when something sounds weird... But, in this case, if you're not like "in love" with the guy I don't see why you should not try to get to know him... Think about it, in the worst case scenario you find out he is still a player... Just be careful not to get too involved before you figure him out.

If a guy has a player rep, usually he's a player. There are of course circumstances in which people do change. It seems weird that there was a 2 day silence. I would be careful with this one.
